Decentralising Transfusion Services

The need was to decentralise transfusion services and expand blood component collection coverage to towns, rural settlements and remote communities across the national territory.

Regulation, Biosafety and Thermal Control in Motion

The challenge was to ensure strict compliance with demanding legal regulations, microbiological protocols and clinical thermal control while operating itinerantly across the complex topography and tertiary roads of Colombia’s mountainous geography.

A High-Power Mobile Hemocenter with Intelligent Design

We built a mobile hemocenter on a high-power International chassis with reinforced suspension and integral aircraft-grade thermal and acoustic insulation. It incorporates automatic ergonomic donor couches of exclusive NINOX patented design, which move instantly into the Trendelenburg position through automated controls in the event of dizziness, redundant industrial air conditioning for the cold chain, internet connectivity, multimedia systems and panic buttons. Its dual-function intelligent cab transports staff safely and converts on site into a private administrative office for confidential screening interviews.
